Today we will discuss sixteenth shloka of Isha Upanishad.   You can recite the shloka with me. “pūṣannekarṣe yama sūrya prājāpatya vyūha raśmīn samūha |  tejo yat te rūpaṁ kalyāṇatamaṁ tatte paśyāmi  yo'sāvasau puruṣaḥ so'hamasmi ||”  Translation in English:  O Sun, solitary traveler, controller of all, Surya, son of Prajapati do remove thy rays and gather up thy dazzle. By your grace I shall see your form which is supremely benign. I am that person within thee.   I think every child is curious about the Sun, so I was, when I was a child.   Dear readers,  Welcome back to our blog. Today we will discuss eleventh shloka of Isha Upanishad.   You can recite the shloka. So, let's start. अन्धं तमः प्रविशन्ति येऽसम्भूतिमुपासते।  ततो भूय इव ते तमो य उ सम्भूत्यां रताः ॥  In English:  “andhaṁ tamaḥ praviśanti ye'sambhūtimupāsate |  tato bhūya iva te tamo ya u sambhūtyāṁ ratāḥ ||”  Translation in English:  Those who worship unmanifested alone enter blinding darkness; and those who worship manifested alone fall into even greater darkness.  Let me tell you a short story of a nature lover Nisarg and his best friend Gurupada associated with a spiritual organization. The Ashram is situated in a forest of foothills. The forest is destroyed to develop the ashram. Nisarg was unhappy about this fact. Gurupada guided Nisarg in different beautiful locations in the ashram. Later, th

Dear readers,  Welcome back to our  blog . Today we will discuss tenth shloka of Isha Upanishad.   Without any further delay, let's jump to the Sloka.  अन्यदेवाहुर्विद्ययाऽन्यदाहुरविद्यया ।   इति शुश्रुम धीराणां ये नस्तद्विचचक्षिरे ॥   “anyadevāhurvidyayā’nyadāhuravidyayā |  iti śuśruma dhīrāṇāṃ ye nastadvicacakṣire ||”  Translation in English:  The result of Vidya is different from the result received by following Avidya. We heard that from wise people who taught us so.   Which results the Shloka is indicating? To understand that let me tell you a story of two brothers Vidyasagar and Sushanta. Vidyasagar was naughty, undisciplined, questioning, curious and an experimenter. Sometimes teachers used to be afraid of his questions because they did not have any answers to them. On the other hand, Sushanta was very calm, disciplined, never questioning and used to follow everything blindly. After growing up Sushanta started working as a clerk in a government office.
