Today we will discuss eighteenth shloka of Isha Upanishad.   You can recite the shloka with me. अग्ने नय सुपथा राये अस्मान् ‌ विश्वानि देव वयुनानि विद्वान् ‌।   युयोध्यस्मज्जुहुराणमेनो भूयिष्ठां ते नम‍उक्तिं विधेम ॥     “agne naya supathā rāye asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān |  yuyodhyasmajjuhurāṇameno bhūyiṣṭhāṁ te namauktiṁ vidhema ||”  Translation in English:  O Fire God, knowing all our good deeds lead us to the good path for the enjoyment of results of deeds and remove from us all the crooked sins. Today we will discuss seventeenth shloka of Isha Upanishad.   You can recite the shloka with me.  वायुरनिलममृतमथेदं भस्मांतं शरीरम् ‌।   ॐ क्रतो स्मर कृतं स्मर क्रतो स्मर कृतं स्मर ॥   “vāyuranilamamṛtamathedaṁ bhasmāṁtaṁ śarīram | om krato smara kṛtaṁ smara krato smara kṛtaṁ smara ||” Translation in English: Let my vital force now attain immortality and let this body end to ash. Om, O mind, remember all deeds, O mind, remember all deeds. Shri Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa was suffering from deadly throat cancer. Those days medical science did not have any treatment for cancer patients. The last one year of his life was painful.
