Universal Vedanta। Welcome Message। Introduction to Vedanta। Part 1

Warm welcome to all the readers on this blog. Few days back on International Day of Yoga, our YouTube channel “Universal Vedanta” was launched . Would request you all to subscribe the VLOG at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR9f52raAFQzWP9jK5U-FwA to get outstanding content on Vedanta, Indian Philosophy and spirituality. Let me give you few idea on Vedanta and our mission in this blog.

As you know Yoga is union of body and mind. But Vedanta is union of Self with Brahman. Vedanta empowers you with the ultimate knowledge to understand this magnificent creation. Vedanta literate you to understand yourself. Vedanta talks about the one truth which is non-dual. The philosophy of Vedanta will give you ability to doubt till the time you are not satisfied with the explanation in the quest of ultimate truth.

The purpose of this channel to spread the wisdom of Vedanta to every corner of this world. Vedanta’s approach is unique and universal. It doesn’t restrict a questioner or seeker in any manner. Vedanta itself is universal because it does not speak about any specific community or race or cast or class or creed or gender or sexual orientation or practices or rituals or followers or religion or ethnicity or culture or society. It is not bound to time or any boundary or border of any country. It never lost its relevance in any period or era. Even in modern time it is more relevant when whole world is fighting terrorism, violence, animal cruelty, carbon emission, global warming, climate change, war, religious killings, exploitations in the name of God, false propagandas, depression, unhappiness, lifestyle diseases, greed, corruption, show off, competition and what not!

Most of the religions talk about harmony and universal brotherhood. But Vedanta claims more than that. Vedanta is like a mirror. When you see a mirror, you see your reflection. A Vedantic scholar or student sees every living being as his reflection through the knowledge of Vedantic mirror. When you see someone as you only, can you harm others? Even not only the other living being but you and the God or Brahman is same. There is no plurality or duality. When you understand this will you fight for any God? Vedanta’s aim is the ultimate happiness or Sachidand. Once you get that happiness will you be in depression?

Above all it does not force you to believe in anything which I told above. It tells build your own logic, use your own intellect, ask question yourself and experience. That’s the beauty of Vedanta.

I seek blessings of all the Gurus – my mother, father, teachers, my sadguru Sri Ramakrishna, my ideal Swami Vivekananda, Shri Ma, all the ancient Rishis, Adi Shankaracharya, and the nature, give me strength and knowledge, so that I can carry forward this Vedantic Movement which was started by Ancient Rishis.

I am begging forgiveness to my readers in advance if I said anything wrong.
